First mate on the pirate ship known as the Golden Loot, Squaggle was almost as incorrigible as his leader, Captain Dirtybeard. He had a peg leg, a face covered in scars, and, like all gnomes, a completely bald head.

Kendra Kandlestar encountered Squaggle in the town of Ireshook while on her way to the Rumble Pit. She overheard the pirate scoundrel discussing his captain's plans to sail over the Seas of Ire, and so decided to stow aboard the pirate ship.

Squaggle was later able to catch Kendra aboard the ship, and immediately turned her over to Captain Dirtybeard.
