The ornery badger known as Timmons Thunderclaws was a close friend to Winter Woodsong. He served in the role of captain of the Een Guard for many years and was present for the trial of the famous Een wizard Roompa Ringtail.

After retiring, Timmons moved to the community of Ander's Down at the outskirts of Een. When Burdock Brown declared himself Emperor of Een and began enslaving the Een animals, Timmons returned to Faun's End and joined the underground resistance movement known as the Knights of Winter.

Despite his many years, he was still a valiant warrior for the resistance, and was seen as inspirational and heroic figure for the animals of Een. He fought courageously during the battle against the monster tribes.
