This secluded point standing on the cliffs of the eastern crack is named after the sorceress Esme Evermoon who lived during the Second Age of Een.
According to legend, Esme often journeyed to the remote place to relish in solitude and contemplate the mysteries of Een magic—especially after the incident with a certain dragon egg that caused her much regret and anxiety in her later years.
There is no special architecture or memorial to mark Esme’s point; it continues to stand wild and lonely. Few ever travel to the point, though to do so means a breath-taking view of the distant Hoping Falls. |
