This dark and dismal place stands just outside the northern border of the Land of Een. As such, its one of the places in the outside world that many Eens have visited at one place or another. It's also a place where many of them have been lost.

Jasper Jinx, the uncle of Juniper Jinx, disappeared in this forest, as did the entire family of Kendra Kandlestar. It was in these woods that Kendra's Uncle Griffinskitch found her, lying alone and abandoned, which was a mystery in itself.

After these disappeareances, Eens largely stopped venturing into the outside world.
